Chandigarh celebrates its various colours with pride

An annual feature, Garvotsav: Chandigarh Pride, is growing in magnitude and acceptance every year in city. What started in 2013 with 100 participants only, the Chandigarh LGBTQI Pride Walk, which is the concluding part of the week long celebrations of Garvotsav, has grown to several hundreds, with the LGBTQI community showing off their varied colours at Punjab University.

The Pride Walk also sees participation of the community from outside the Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana region. While the week, which this year started on February 25 in city, witnesses several activities like debates, discussions etc, the Pride Walk remains its most colourful ingredient.
