As Food & Beverage Manager at The LaLiT Mumbai, you’ll oversee all F&B operations—restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service—ensuring top-notch service, operational efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction in line with luxury-brand standards.
Operational Management
- Supervise daily operations across outlets (restaurants, bars, banquets, in-room dining).
- Monitor inventory, procurement, and stock usage.
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and cleanliness meet LaLiT's standards.
Financial Control
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, sales targets, and cost controls.
- Analyze revenue, margins, and take corrective action to meet profitability goals.
Team Leadership & HR
- Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff; prepare schedules and manage rotas.
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching to enhance team performance.
Guest Service Excellence
- Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
- Foster a customer-focused culture and maintain high service standards.
Marketing & Menu Development
- Collaborate on menu design, beverage lists, seasonal promotions, and sales events.
- Promote F&B outlets and services proactively.
Compliance & Standards
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures in line with company and legal requirements.
- Ensure SOP compliance, audit readiness, and incident preparedness.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
Experience: 12 years minimum in F&B, preferably in 5★ hotels or luxury fine-dining venues in India.
Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Language: Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of Indian cuisine is advantageous.
Skills: Leadership, team-building, customer service, cost-control, budgeting, MS Office & F&B systems (e.g. Opera), problem-solving, detail-oriented attitude.
