Job Responsibilities:

Job Purpose
To lead and grow the MICE segment by developing strategic sales plans, nurturing key client relationships, and driving revenue through corporate events, conferences, and group bookings. This role is pivotal in positioning the hotel as a premier destination for business gatherings and large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute MICE sales strategy aligned with hotel goals
- Forecast revenue and set performance targets for the MICE vertical
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with corporates, event planners, travel agents, and DMCs
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums
Sales Operations
- Lead and mentor the MICE sales team
- Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
- Ensure seamless coordination between sales, banquet, and operations teams
Client Management
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Customize offerings to meet client needs and enhance guest experience
- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues
Requirements
- Proven track record in MICE sales within the hospitality sector
- Strong network of MICE Agent and event industry contacts
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a sales team
- Familiarity with CRM tools and hotel sales systems
