Job Responsibilities:

POSITIONS SUPERVISED :
- Regional Sales Team – Chennai
- Associate Head of Sales
- Senior Sales Managers / Sales Managers/ Assistant Managers (Corporate, MICE & Leisure)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To lead and manage the Chennai market sales operations with the objective of generating and maximizing business for The LaLiT Group of Hotels, Pan India, by driving revenue from Chennai and neighbouring cities across Corporate, MICE, and Leisure segments, through centralized account management, strategic partnerships, and strong market leadership.The role is responsible for building The LaLiT brand presence in Chennai, driving topline growth, managing key accounts, and achieving individual and team budgets, while ensuring consistent sales alignment with corporate and property-level revenue objectives.

Minimum Qualification: - Graduate in Hotel Management / Business Administration
Preferred Qualification (if any): - MBA in Sales & Marketing
Total Years of Experience: - 15+ years
Relevant Industry Experience: - Luxury / Five-Star Hotel Sales with Chennai Market exposure

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead and manage sales operations for the Chennai market and neighboring cities to generate business for all The LaLiT hotels Pan India.
- Drive revenue growth across Corporate, MICE, and Leisure segments through centralized selling.
- Acquire, manage, and grow key national and regional corporate accounts based in Chennai.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel trade partners, event planners, DMCs, and industry bodies.
- Represent all LaLiT hotels during client meetings, negotiations, presentations and market interactions.
- Manage RFP participation, rate negotiations, contracting, and account performance reviews.
- Ensure optimal distribution of business across The LaLiT properties based on client needs and revenue strategy.
- Monitor market trends, demand drivers, and competitor activity in Chennai and surrounding markets
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Sales, Revenue Management, and Hotel operation teams.
- Ensure seamless business conversion and delivery across properties
- Drive revenue targets and ensure achievement of team budgets
- Lead, mentor, and performance-manage the Chennai sales team to ensure target achievement.
- Participate in trade shows, roadshows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, MIS reporting, pipeline management, and adherence to The LaLiT sales SOPs.
