Nileswaram is a cultural centre, which was earlier the place of NIleswaram Rajas. The name of the site has originated from the word, Nilakanta Ishwar. The main attraction of the site is the place, which serves as the traditional knowledge centre of the Department of Archaeology. Moreover, there are a number of places of worship and temples in this town.
