The museum was instituted as part of the centenary celebrations of the engineer-statesman Sir M. Visvesvaraya (1861-1962). The objective of the Museum is to popularize science through interactive exhibits.
Visvesvaraya Museum is not a 'museum' in its classical sense because it has interactive exhibits unlike stationary models of a museum. It is more of a "Science Centre".
Each floor of this museum is dedicated to a scientific discipline such as The Engine Hall, The Electro-Technic Gallery, Fun Science, and Space Gallery.

Russell Market is a famous shopping market in Shivajinagar, Bangalore. It was started in 1927 by the British and was inaugurated in 1933.
The structure is built in the Indo-Saracenic style using imported steel girders, and brick-lime mortar. All types of fruits and vegetables are vent here, even the Imported Fruits. Flower vendors, dates and dry fruits are also sold here.
Imported ones like Kiwi fruits, Californian Apple, Bangkok, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Washington Apples and Australian cherries are also available here. The market also has Meat stalls.

Bannerghatta Biological Park is located about 22 Kms south of Bengaluru city. It is one of the few places in the world where wilderness is preserved so close to a big city.
A variety of Mammals, Reptiles, and Birds of both exotic and Indian origin comprising 1414 animals belonging to 73 species are displayed in captivity. In addition, there is a Museum and an Auditorium for the visitors’ education.
Also on offer are the Grand Safari and Boating.
