Hospitality chain introduces mediclaim policy for LGBTQ
The LaLit Suri Hospitality group, which operates 13 hotels in India and abroad, has introduced a mediclaim policy that will cover employees who are same sex couples, children born through surrogacy and single parents.
This is likely to impact over 3000 employees. The hospitality group has tied up with ICICI Lombard for the group mediclaim policy which will provide insurance and health cover for LGBTQ people who have been excluded so far.
