The accommodation at The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur is a total of 55 rooms spread over two wings – The Heritage Wing and The Shreenathji Wing. The hotel accommodation also has the option of lake view or valley view rooms, king size or twin bed and smoking or non-smoking rooms. The guest rooms are available in the categories of Deluxe Valley View Room, Deluxe Lake View Room. Palace Suite, Princess Suite, Maharani Suites and The Maharana Suite.

THE HERITAGE WING
The oldest section of the Palace comprises of the 11 Heritage suites, each one of them has its own story to tell, from the time of Maharana’s reign. Each suite makes an individual statement with their interesting play of old marble work, elaborate wood carvings and colorful frescos.

As part of its heritage, Laxmi Vilas Palace has assorted trophies around on the wall. The public areas and the corridors of the palace wing are still adorned with white Makrana marble and black stone which are over 70 years old. This wing is decorated with beautiful imported chandeliers and other artifacts.

THE SHREENATHJI WING
A day at The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace begins with an offering to the Hindu deity, Lord Krishna and fore mostly to one of his shrines located nearby the City, Nathdwara. This wing is designed on the local ethos and has the flavor of the childhood of the Lord Krishna. The blessed presence of ‘Shreenathji’ – as he is called in this part of the country – can be felt subtly in the wing and especially in the section dedicated to him.

A beautiful gem studded portrait leads way to the Palace Deluxe Rooms and Suites in this section of the Palace while intricate paintings display the various symbols of ‘Shreenathji’. The sacred and bright Auvergne and Saffron color in all the rooms serve as a constant reminder of the deity, Krishna – the leader, hero, protector, philosopher, teacher and friend all rolled into one.
